Vegas, Baby, Vegas

What Happens In Vegas, Can’t Happen If You Don’t Go There

Here is a fairly obvious pitch for my Las Vegas travel website, Traveling Las Vegas. It’s not like it’s a massive, in-depth resource for all things Las Vegas, but I’ve got some time invested in the website, as well as some choice affiliate partners for Vegas hotels, Vegas flights, Vegas packages, and other great Vegas deals.

I know that you’re not supposed to talk about what goes on in Vegas…but if you never take the time to travel to Las Vegas, you’re never going to have anything not to talk about.

I’ve got lots of friends in the Vancouver area, so maybe one or two of you could have a peek at Vancouver flights to Vegas, and maybe you can save a few bucks on a Vegas vacation package, and I can earn a couple of dollars towards my next Vegas trip.

That’s the end of my Vegas plug.

Hockey Nights In Canada

Posted by Dale on May 7, 2010 in Funny Stuff

“For the past couple of weeks every night has been Hockey Night In Canada! While this is not necessarily a bad thing (from the hockey fan’s perspective), unfortunately other tasks and activities tend to get put on hold every Spring.”

Taken from The Toque (well, I didn’t really take it–it’s mind to begin with…)

The Post With The Most

Posted by Dale on Aug 2, 2009 in Personal

The problem with operating personal websites when there are so many other social sites out there, is that the self-made site always requires updates and maintenance, which equates to more work, and so it is always the last site to get any attention.

While I am confident that everyone who visits my Facebook page already knows what is going on in my life, I still feel somewhat guilty for not updating my status on www.daletudge.com

Okay, well the guilty moment is over, and I’ve posted a hundred words, so time to move on to the next site…if this was Facebook, I’d already be done.

If I’m not going to write about it, at least I can still link to it:

Someone has to keep the Canadian stereotypes alive.

No One Ever Said Bill Doty Wasn’t A Stand-Up Guy

Posted by Dale on Jan 28, 2009 in Friends

I had to nick this photo from my buddy Bill’s site. There are so many penis jokes oozing out of my pores that I just can’t decide on one…so just enjoy the photo and don’t be too hard-on Bill.

Word Up

Posted by Dale on Oct 18, 2008 in Personal

After a couple of years of doing nothing with my home blog, I’ve decided to move over to WordPress from Joomla, just because it will be easier to write and adapt and network with some of my other blogs and microblogs. I’ve got plenty of Joomla sites to manage, but it’s just a little bit more powerful than I need for a personal site.

Where are the pictures of Logan and Nolen? For now, you’ll just have to see them through my (or Holly’s) Facebook page.

Welcome To My Micro-space

Posted by Dale on Oct 18, 2008 in Personal

Hello, and welcome to my personal webspace, my little chunk of the web.

Why are you here? Perhaps you clicked on a link from another webpage of mine, or maybe you looked me up in Google. I can guess that you’re probably visiting this site because you know me, knew me, or heard about me from someone else. Maybe we went to school together, or maybe I owe you money. It’s even quite possible that we were intimate at one time.

It doesn’t matter how you got here or how long you stay, or where you go when you leave. It’s nice to know that you were thinking about me enough to look me up, hunt me down, or check me out.

Enjoy your visit.

Cheers (and Frasier),

Dale Tudge
